How to Help

Creative Commons Hong Kong is a project administered by the Journalism and Media Studies Centre at the University of Hong Kong. Most of CCHK’s non-academic activities will depend on a wider community of volunteers from all walks of life in Hong Kong. Their activities will depend upon public support.

After launching in October 2008, CCHK is planning publicity and educational activities designed to promote the adoption of the localized CC licenses, and also to help improve public understanding of copyright issues in Hong Kong.

Our initial focus will be on students, young people and creators in many media. The aim is to encourage sharing of Hong Kong’s creative work and, of equal importance, respect of law with regard to the proper usage of creative work by others, whether or not these works are published under CC licenses.

You can assist CCHK in many ways: by financial contribution, corporate sponsorship and volunteering.
